My Kindle Book Reviews

I have had my Kindle for a little over a year. Since then I have gone from a two to three books a year girl, to a 3 to 4 books a month girl. (Hence the reason I currently have three blog post I have yet to complete... Ugh where is my snow day! )

Over the last year I have been reading so much and have become so obsessed with reading that I can't leave the house without my Kindle. I seriously read while I blow dry my hair in the mornings, at red lights, during dance practice, and well any where I can steal a few minutes. Marshal has threaten several times to ground me from it, but he knows I will beat him up if he tries.

Reading becomes such a welcomed escape from life. Several books I have read lately get me so hooked that I just can't stand to stop reading. I want so badly to know what is going to happen. Most of my books are written over two to three book series. Talk about drive me crazy; reading a book and then having to wait months to get the next book. Ugh! I had to start writing them all down on my calendar to keep up with it all. Ha! I never understood how someone could be reading more than one book at a time. I totally get it now. I don't know if that means I am getting old or if I am just a total nerd.

I thought that since I spend so much of my time reading I would share a little bit about my books. I promise not to give anything away and obviously these are purely my opinions . Also if I have still managed to fool you into thinking that I am a sweet little innocent church girl stop reading now. (I love church too. This just doesn't happen to be a blog about that.)

Absolutely loved loved these books. The author is amazing at developing the characters. The main character is so strong and independent I just had to find out all the details of what made her like she is. Of course it always helps that she gets into a relationship with a super hottie ( that I totally had a crush on), but the author keeps you hooked and it is not a simple girl meets boy story. When I read the last page of Never Too Far I seriously had the urge to track down the author and demand more. I could become a Abbie Glines stalker.

Highly recommend these two books. Talk about pulling on your emotions. The story line develops over the course of the two books and information about the main character is hinted at, but you just want to keep reading to figure out what is going on and what is going to happen. There are three hottie guys in this book, but they are all so young that if you are wanting a book boyfriend these books may not be for you.

These are some of my more trashy reads. They are on the same level as 50 Shades mommy porn. I loved the story line in these books. After reading book two I had to wait a couple of months for book three to be released. I am really sad to say the author really let the story line go in book three. It was nothing but sex scene after sex scene. I definitely want me some major sexy James Cavendish just as much as the next girl, but it took me 87% of the book before I finally got to the point I couldn't put the book down and wanted to finish reading it.

I know this book is number one and a must read according to several book reviews, but this book drove me nuts! I hated the back a forth way it was written. Present, future, his side, her side. When I finally finished the book I hated both of the main characters and found all the other characters majorly annoying. We would nit be friends in real life. I did like the story line and found it very intriguing so I wouldn't not recommend it. I know I am saying things out of both sides of my mouth on this one. I am a girl I don't have to make up my mind though, right?

Another 50 Shades type book. I like these books, really I do. There is a story line and romance mixed in with the trashy senses. Really my major complaint is how am I suppose to be attracted to a man named Gideon? Maybe it's just me, but I simply cannot have crush on a man with the name Gideon. The third ones comes out in May so I will have to keep you updated on this one.

Ok I am a little embarrassed to say I read these books. It was honestly a mistake that I bought the first one but then couldn't wait to dig into the second. I would never buy a book where hot guys turn into birds and other animals, but somehow the author made it work and for a quick light read I thought they were really great. I also found myself connecting to things in the book as the story is based in New Orleans.

I have several more books I could tell you about, but in he interest of attempting to keep my blog somewhat pg rated I am going to stop there. Ha!
